This past month, I had the pleasure of attending a work event in Key West, Florida. While the event was very impactful and jam-packed, I was also able to sneak away and take some photos. I haven’t spent much time in cityscape photography. What better place to expand my horizons than the eclectic architecture of Key West? We had beautiful weather for the week, and that allowed me to really focus on composition and play with the aperture without the fear of complicated lighting scenarios. Staying true to my nature roots, I was also able to snap a few pictures of the local fauna.
I love how the vibrant colors are ever-present in the architecture of Key West.

The locals of Key West made for great subjects, and thankfully they were present everywhere.

Shooting out on the water allowed me to capture the beautiful emerald color that Key West is known for.
